For the first time in my life, I strapped on a pair of ice skates... I know I am going to be feeling it for the next couple of days.
Got the breath knocked out of me a couple of times. That hasn't happened to me in a very long time.

Well, against my better judgement, I got back into an apartment for a while. Well the years lease anyway.

 

This is going to seriously restrict money but  I will just have to tough it out.

I don't know if I have said this before, but I will say it now. As with any other form of camping, be prepaired. Don't do what I did, and just jump out here.

Nothing ever really works like you have it planned. Have your vehical setup the way you want it, before you ever walk out the door... in fact, have it setup and do a few test runs, before you ever get out the door.

I finally bought the inflatable bed that I wanted... the only way this is going to work is by being able to inflate and deflate it pretty much on command.  It is to damned big to leave up all the time. But it is way more comfortable than the folding seat. I plan to take that damned thing out soon.

Oh, and it looks like the 80 dollar Tv/Monitor that I bought is broke... grrr... will have to crack it open and see if it is fixable...

Looking for the shop now. I did find one that would be perfect, as long as the garage doors still open. But there was no contact info to be found.

Getting late, and the battery is draining, so I'm going to hit the sack.

Over the past few days, I have had this idea rolling around in my head. It started with finding the RV Plans. Then I found a old nursery that sits on 7 acres of land. Most of the buildings on it need knocked down, but the one good one would make a perfect place for building the campers.

Then I talked to an old friend of mine, that I haven't seen in 20+ years, and come to find out he is making trailers...   Some of the camper plans start out as trailers.

Part of me thinks that there is a real money making oppertunity in the works here. Go look at a few RV sales pages, and you will see what I mean.

Anyway, I need to get to bed and the battery is getting low so I will call it a night.

Once again, alll my free time for the day has been burned up, and it is time for me to get to work. I did find a couple of interesting things over this last weekend.

I also thought I had found an iteresting way to learn about stock investments in Second Life, but I am not real sure that will pan out yet. Anyway, I have to really get out the door and head to work.

Still trying to catch up with everything, and not getting much done. Got the transmission in the van, and it is working great. Unfortunatly, the alternator went out.

I still have to catch up and get the people I owe paid from the transmission deal.

Now, I have to find a high output alternator, add a couple solar cells to the array, and I should have all the power (electric) I need. 

Actually, I should skip the high output alternator (just getting a standard alternator) and get the solar cells.

I hope to add more later.

One of my goals when I started this urban camping deal has been met. I got my new notebook out of layaway today. Finally.

Now, I don't have to try to post looking at that tiny monitor that I plan to use for the carputer. (That is mainly why I haven't been posting and should be posting more in the near future. ~.0 )

Anyway, I still have some running to do, so I have to run for now.
